With that vision in mind, we are excited to announce our initiative to help fund and establish campgrounds across Hawaii—starting with Oahu and expanding to the outer islands.
As you may know, the state has been closing campgrounds here on Oahu, leaving only a few available for families and communities. We’re determined to change that. We believe that families should have access to safe, clean, and fun sites where they can build lasting memories together. Currently, we are actively looking for land on Oahu to purchase or partner with, specifically properties that meet the following zoning criteria: If you or someone you know has these types on property and wants to sell or partner, let us know. P2 All of our yurts are proudly made right here in Hawaii, using high-quality American materials designed to withstand our unique climate. Supporting Ohana Yurts means supporting a local business that is deeply committed to sustainability and the local community. By choosing local, we strengthen our economy and ensure that resources stay within Hawaii, benefiting everyone. We are proud to share that we have successfully supported organizations such as YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, Camp Mokuleia, and others to create sustainable and functional spaces with our yurts. These collaborations have not only enhanced the experiences at these locations but have also strengthened our commitment to building eco-friendly communities. Our goal is to create campgrounds that provide unique and environmentally conscious experiences while supporting the local community and environment.
